A strict diet should not be applied during lactation. During this period, the need for calorie from breastfeeding will increase and it is important to eat properly and balanced.
During the breastfeeding period, you should avoid foods such as cabbage, onion, garlic, asparagus and celery which may spoil the taste of milk. For constipation and indigestion problems, plenty of fiber and fruit should be consumed. Coffee, tea, alcohol and cigarettes should be avoided during breastfeeding.
